About Chaplain Taymullah Abdur-Rahman
Taymullah Abdur-Rahman received a degree in Islamic Sciences from the Saudi Arabian Council of Senior Scholars in 2006. In his pastoral care career he has served as weekly lecturer at ISBCC, interim imam at numerous masaajid, Northeastern University spiritual advisor and chaplain for the Department of Correction for seven years. In addition to his chaplaincy position, Taymullah is a program associate for the international non profit organization ‘Facing History and Ourselves’ where he teaches about understanding historical conflict and human behavior. He is pursuing a masters in Global Interreligious Leadership at Andover Newton Theological School and is the author of ’44 Ways to Manhood’ published by International Islamic Publishing House in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

Chaplain Office Hours
Wednesdays, 6-8 PM, Memorial Church Basement (for directions, please click here)
Chaplain Taymullah & the Harvard Chaplaincy Office are working on gathering a private space for one-to-one meetings. Currently, office hours are held in the basement of Memorial Church.
Note: At Harvard University, Chaplains are considered private and confidential resources.
Facilitate Jumuah khuthbas bi-weekly (see Khateeb schedule here)
Lead weekly halqah in Canaday E Basement Musallah on ‘Lessons from the Lives of the Prophets.’
Host tahajud every last Friday night of the month from midnight until fajr in Canaday E.
Attend undergraduate D tables on Monday nights.
