Aqidah Study Circle

Join us in our weekly circle studying Aqidah with a Masters student at the Harvard Kennedy School who studied Islam extensively in Mauritania and Senegal. He will be taking students through the text Aqidat al-Awam and will be going over attributes of Allah, attributes of Rasulallah (s), the prophets, the angels, the Prophet’s family, and the Night Journey.
Gems from the Quran

The Quran is a book of amazing beauty, extraordinary eloquence and tremendous spiritual power. In the midst of all its majesty, some verses are like glistening lights that have the power to illuminate our lives and transform our experience. In this short class, we study and dazzle ourselves by these beautiful gems, these scattered pearls in the light of the life and words of the Prophet sallallahualayhiwasallam, inspiring stories from the life of the pious predecessors and the realities of modern life. Taught by Ussama Khan from HKS.

The Harvard Divinity School (HDS) Muslim Council and Harvard Islamic Society will be hosting gatherings of remembrance that will consist of the recitation of the Qur’an, traditional Muslim liturgies, and collective recitation of supplication.
Power Halaqa with the Chaplain

Harvard Islamic Society’s chaplain Taymullah Abdur-Rahman will lead a power halaqa, where he will discuss the greatest stories ever told – From Adam to Isa.
